Privacy Policy

Version 2026-10-19. This policy covers the Bilqis website, including the “Register interest” and “Request a demo” forms. It does not cover the Bilqis platform used by customers.

Who we are

Bilqis GreenTech FZ-LLC (“Bilqis”, “we”), in5 Tech, Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Privacy enquiries, including requests for access, correction or deletion and withdrawal of consent: info@bilqis.org.

What we collect through the forms

• Register interest: your email address and, if you give them, your name and company.
• Request a demo: your name, work email, organisation, organisation type and, if you write one, a message.
• Product updates (optional): whether you ticked the box, when, and the exact wording you agreed to. The box is never ticked for you.

With each submission we also record: the time; the page and button it came from; campaign tags in the link you followed (for example utm_source=linkedin); the referring website’s name; a shortened description of your browser (user agent, up to 200 characters); and a one-way, salted hash of your IP address. We do not store your IP address itself. To limit spam we also keep salted hashes of your IP address and email address (not the address itself) for rate limiting.

Why we use it

• To respond to your demo request or registration. A demo request is followed up personally by our team.
• To send product update emails, only if you ticked the box.
• To understand which pages and links lead to enquiries, and to protect the forms from spam and abuse.

Product updates and unsubscribing

Product updates are separate from registering or requesting a demo. The current wording is: “Yes, send me occasional Bilqis product updates by email. I can unsubscribe at any time using the link in every email.” Every product update email includes an unsubscribe link that works without signing in, and you can also email info@bilqis.org. If you register again without ticking the box, we treat that as withdrawing consent. We keep a record of each time consent is given or withdrawn so we can show we respected your choice.

We do not send you automatic acknowledgements or product updates yet. When you submit a form, our team receives an internal email notification containing the details you submitted, so we can respond. We will update this policy before we send emails to you.

Who can see your details

Only Bilqis founders and administrators, through an internal, access-controlled tool. Your details are not shown to our customers or inside our customer products. Every change our team makes to a lead record (for example its follow-up status) is logged.

Where your details are stored and processed

• Supabase stores the database. Our Supabase project is hosted in the ap-southeast-2 (Sydney, Australia) region.
• Vercel hosts the website. The production server functions that receive the forms run in the iad1 (Washington, D.C., USA) region.
• Resend (a United States company) delivers our internal notification emails, which contain the details you submit. Resend stores those emails, including their content and delivery logs, in the United States. Our sending domain sends through Resend’s ap-northeast-1 (Tokyo, Japan) sending region, which affects only where the emails are sent from, not where Resend stores them.

This means your details are processed outside the UAE, in Australia, the United States and Japan.

How long we keep it

We retain your personal information only for as long as necessary to respond to your enquiry or, where you have opted in, to provide Bilqis updates. You can withdraw consent or request deletion by contacting info@bilqis.org. We may retain information where required by applicable law.

Your rights

To ask what we hold about you, or to correct or delete it, email info@bilqis.org. You can withdraw product-update consent at any time as described above.

Cookies and other website data

The forms and the pages that host them do not set cookies and do not use your browser’s local storage. Signing in to the Bilqis platform uses cookies for your session. Our public product-demo page (/demo) records anonymous viewing events (for example that a video was started), your browser description and approximate location (country, region and city from our hosting provider), without your name or email. Our homepage loads its fonts from Google Fonts, so your browser connects to Google’s servers to download them. We do not use other analytics or advertising tools on the website.

We will update this policy when our practices change and show the version at the top.
