Making Waste Measurableat the Source.
The data you need to make better waste decisions in real time.
Watch our storyTo make waste measurable at the source, giving organisations and governments verified data to reduce waste, improve resource recovery, increase cost transparency and make better-informed decisions.
To make waste as measurable and accountable as electricity and water—building the measurement infrastructure that turns waste into actionable resource intelligence.
Waste is billed after it is mixed.
A kitchen, a food court, a tenant and a loading dock all produce waste. Once it is consolidated into shared loads, where it came from and how much each source contributed is often lost, and later invoices and reports rarely bring that back.
Still identifiable
Each outlet, tenant or zone produces its own waste. This is where Bilqis measures.
Mixed together
Bags from every source go into shared bins, compactors and skips.
One number
A period, a total weight and an amount. The source rarely reaches the bill.
Waste starts at identifiable sources. Between the source and the invoice, that information is easily lost.
- Little measurement at the sourceWaste is often estimated rather than measured where it is produced.
- Attribution lost in consolidationOnce waste is mixed, who generated it is hard to recover.
- Limited real-time visibilityTeams often see figures only after the period has closed.
- Hard to reconcileMatching waste activity with invoices and reports takes effort.

Measurement at the source. Clarity across the operation.
Two products that work together to make commercial waste measurable and manageable.
See the waste where it happens.
Festivals, sporting events and exhibitions, and the venues that host them, produce waste at dozens of points at once, across many vendors.
- The busy hours, as they happen — which stands produce the most waste.
- Every kilo tied to its source — the vendor, outlet or tenant.
- Crews sent where they are needed — before problems build up.

What gets measured can be managed.
Most commercial waste is still estimated. Reliable measurement gives the people who pay for waste, run the operation and report on it a shared, factual basis.
